King Conquer
King Conquer
Formed in early 2002, Florida's very own King Conquer stands to show that they are a force to be reckoned with. With their latest effort entitled, "Decomposing Normality", along with their recent signing to Mediaskare Records, the band has began to make a name for themselves. With standout tracks like "Digitally Transmitted Diseases" and "Archaic", King Conquer showcases their ability to create music that is technical, as well as heavy. Look for King Conquer in a town near you soon.
The World We Knew
The World We Knew
Hailing from the shores of the Great South bay in Long Island, New York, THE WORLD WE KNEW, is a five piece metal outfit dedicated to bringing new and exciting material to a stagnant genre of music. Originally formed in September 2004 by vocalist and TWWK's only orignial member, Frank Fanelli, the band has gone through several line up changes. After two years of making a name for themselves in the local scene, playing shows with such national acts as DEAD TO FALL and BLEEDING THROUGH, the band was reformed with Ryan Curry (guitar) and original bassist James Valenti remained. Along with Ryan and James, Thomas Colello (guitar) and Shane Curry (drums) were also added to the new lineup, Tom and Shane being two members of the succesful yet defunct local band, THE RESCUE. The Rescue had toured with He Is Legend and Still Life Projector in the summer of 2004 and had played countless shows in the tri-state area with larger acts in today's scene (i.e. - Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, As I Lay Dying, & From First To Last).. After their first succesfull east coast tour, James was replaced by good friend and fellow musican Ed Jelley on bass.

Within less than a year, the band has booked three DIY tours along the East coast, played countless weekends and local shows, self recorded/produced/released and sold out of a 7 song EP, slept in many basements, broken down many, MANY, times (ditching 2 vans along the way). In January of 2007, The World We Knew headed into Full Force Stuidos (Suffocation, Internal Bleeding, Dying Fetus, Criminal Element) in Port Jefferson, NY with Engineers Dan Kenny and Joe Cincotta and spent the month recording their full length record, slated for release in early summer of 2007.

With the departure of Thomas Colello, The World We Knew recruited Ryan Rennison, to fill the empty spot, formerly of Long Island metal band, OFF WITH HER HEAD. In the early spring of 2007, with the newly solidified line up, The band inked a deal with North Carolina based record label Seventh Dagger Records. The World We Knew has big plans to spend the next few months on tour in support of their new record. The band tries to breathe a breath of fresh air into their music with their intense live performances and fast paced songwriting approach.

Over the last three years, TWWK has been able to share the stage with a ton of major acts on events such as Warped Tour, and The Show Of The Summer (NJ). For example - Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Dead To Fall, Darkest Hour, Bleeding Through, Despised Icon, Full Blown Chaos, Caliban, The Sleeping, A Life Once Lost, Haste The Day, Necrophagist, Remembering Never, The Acacia Strain, The Warriors, Animosity, Sworn Enemy, Cephalic Carnage, Embrace Today, A Love For Enemies, Endwell, This Is Hell, A Love Ends Suicide, plus many, many more! This is only the begining for The World We Knew, and they plan on getting themselves to the top in due time. No one will stand in thier way!

Lastly, All five members of The World We Knew are STRAIGHT EDGE. Being straight edge is ultimately a choice that we make for ourselves. Our beliefs are not here to be forced upon others. We believe that living our lives this way is whats right for us. We're all open minded and very nice/approachable dudes so if you see us at a show, or we're online, talk to us, say hello, wave, smile. Let us know you're there. We'd love to hear from all of you. Thank you so much!
Abiotic
Abiotic
Abiotic is an American progressive, technical death metal band from Miami, Florida that has recently signed to Metal Blade Records. The five-piece group consists of vocalist Ray Jimenez, bassist Alex Vazquez, drummer Andres Hurtado and guitarists Matt Mendez and Johnathan Matos. The band has released two singles and a seven song studio EP entitled 'A Universal Plague'. "Vermosapien", the second track on the EP, has recently been featured on the quintet's first music video, directed by Dan Drescher.

Abiotic is agressive, melodic, technical and musical, to say the least. They've been compared to bands like The Faceless and Veil of Maya. Mixing technical riffs, brutal break downs, and solos that will leave you breathless, makes this five-piece assault an act that fans won't ever want to miss.
